Hi there, I'm Alex

As the Guild Director, I get to work with our awesome staff team and the Officers elected by students every year in the Guild elections. Before getting into Students' Unions, I studied music tech and got a PhD in pop music from the University of Surrey, where I later worked before moving to Richmond American University London. 

The Guild Director

The Guild Director is responsible for managing the Guild's work day-to-day so that the Officer team are supported to achieve their ambitions and focus on supporting students. This includes: managing the Guild's work towards our strategic targets, managing the Guild's relationship with the University, and helping with issues across the whole Guild if anything comes up.
