Role of a Course Rep

As a Course Rep, you are the voice of the students on your course. You'll provide studnets with a point of contact to give you their feedback, help to develop community and provide students with the opportunity to shape their experience. 

You'll work in collaboration with the Guild Executive, other Course Reps and staff in both the University and the Guild. 

As a Course Rep, you will:

  1.  Attend training provided by the Guild as well as receive ongoing support and development opportunities. 
  2. Be the primary contact for students on your course to provide feedback to. 
  3. Signpost students to the relevant support services that they might need.
  4. Attend relevant UCB and Guild Meetings.
  5. Gather student opinion from the students on your course.
  6. Lead and get involved in campaigns related to academic exerperience and education. 
  7. Communicate feedback between students, the Guild and the University.
  8. Advocate for the students on your course.
