New for 2020/21, we're introducing Liberation Societies to ensure that all of our students are represented and have a space to build community.
Liberation Societies provide students from underrepresented and marginalised groups a place to come together as a community. Your liberation society will provide a safe space to meet people, have your voice heard and collectively work to end discrimination at UCB and within wider soceity.
"We beleve that the struggle for equality is about liberation and freedom - freedom from discrimination in every area of life and freedom from fear of violence and prejudice that we can face because of our identities" - National Union of Students
We are currently recruiting leaders for these societies for the year ahead. If you're interested in taking up a leadership role and supporting your community at UCB, get in contact with our Representation and Advocacy Coordinator at firstname.lastname@example.org.
