Why become a Course Based Society committee member?

Leading a society is great for your CV and personal development. You’ll have the opportunity to work with senior leaders in the University, develop and deliver on campaigns and projects and gain connections in the industry you’re interested in. The Guild will provide support for each committee, as well as one-to-one support for each role. We are in the process of creating a development programme to provide course based society committees with additional training and support to help them with life after UCB.

I want to be on a Course Based Society Committee - what do I have to do?

Send an e-mail to our Representation and Advocacy Coordinator, Cassie O'Boyle, at c.oboyle@ucb.ac.uk and let us know you're interested. We will organise a meeting with you to chat through the roles to see which one suits you best.
