The University is working with employers to ensure that, subject to government advice, students will be able to access work experience and placement opportunities, once it is safe to do so. 

 

For those planning to start a 48 week paid placement: 

You will receive course specific updates via e-mail and Canvas from your Employability Tutor. 

 

For all other placements: 

Your Employability Tutor will be in touch when you return to campus and will help you in getting back to your chosen industry as soon as it is safe and employers are able to support you. 

 

The University have said: 

"If it is not possible for you to go out into industry straight away, we are exploring alternative employer led projects, opportunities within UCB and virtual placement options. These options will be developed once we know more about how government advice will affect different sectors. Further details will be communicated directly during pre-placement sessions next semester."
