Liberation Networks

At UCB Guild of Students, we understand how important it is for students of all backgrounds have the ability to steer the work we do as your Student Union.

To act as a direct route to inform us on what it is that students belonging to commonly underrepresented backgrounds need from us, as well as providing community spaces for students to network and organise on issues that matter to them, The Guild is establishing Liberation Networks for the following groups.

  • Trans Liberation Network
  • Anti-Racism network
  • Anti-Sexism network
  • LGBTQ+ Network
  • Disability Justice Network
  • Parents & Carers network

These networks are now established, if you would like to attend the network please fill in this form.

Below are the key dates and location for the first Liberation Networks:

The chairperson of each network is a voting member of the Students’ Union Council. Voting members are eligible to vote on the UCB Guild’s policies and play a leading role in democratic decision-making.
