Welcome to all new and returning UCB students! Term 2 is around the corner, and with it the arrival of our February starters. This calls for a party (OR SEVERAL 😉): Don’t miss out on our exclusive Refreshers Wristbands, your ticket to an unforgettable line-up filled with the best student parties in town – plenty of opportunities to make new friends and dive straight into student life in Birmingham.

How it Works

Select your wristband, make your payment and you’re good to go! We will send you an email with all the details you’ll need closer to the time, but here are a few things to note:

The first 100 students to pick up their wristbands will receive a free drinks cover to protect beverages against spiking, so it’s worth coming early!
New students and people who have purchased a wristband from us before will receive a cheeky little discount code in your inbox 💌
Wristbands are available for collection from 01 February 2026. You can collect your wristband at the Guild Shop in Moss House (Ground Floor). Please note that if you purchase your wristband outside of our opening hours (Monday-Friday, 10am-4pm), you won’t be able to pick up your wristband until the Guild Shop is open again.

Discounted Rates

We’re offering our wristbands at a discounted rate for new students starting in February 2026, and for returning students who have purchased a wristband with us before. You will have received a code in an email from the Guild, please put this code in the discount box when you make your purchase to receive your discount!
If you’re eligible for a discount and have not received one yet, please email Muriel before buying your wristband.

Terms and Conditions

Wristbands are 18+ only, and we’ll check your age through the student database upon purchase. Transport to the locations is not included, please make your own arrangements to get there.
Buy with confidence: Wristbands are fully refundable until 31st January 2026 11.59pm; after that date and time, they are non-refundable. In order to refund your wristband, please email guildinfo@ucb.ac.uk by 31st January 2026 11.59pm with “Refreshers Wristband Refund” in the subject line, and your full name and the email address you used to purchase your wristband in the body of the email.
