UCB does not have an ACS (afro carribean society) whereas majority of univeristies around the UK and Ireland have one. I feel as though next academic year 2020/2021 would be the perfect time to set up and organise an ACS. It would be a society where by we can feel safe, mingle, entertain, empower, educate, and relate. It would celebrate and embrace the African and Carribean culture When i came to uni it was one of the only societies that I wanted to join but I was disappointed
