Role Descriptions

The Guild of Students is led by the Executive Team, made up of full-time, paid Officers and volunteer Executive Officers. 

Collectively, they make decisions that shape the Guild and your student experience. Please click on the role titles below for more information on the roles and responsibilities of each Guild Officer.

 

Education Officer (1 Role Available)

The Education Officer is a full-time, paid Guild Officer. The Education Officer plays an important role in the Guild and University community representing and promoting the views and interests of students to create change on all relevant education issues.They lead the Guild’s work on education and teaching issues in the University, College, locally and nationally.

 

 

Societies and Activities Officer (1 Role Available) 

The Societies and Activities Officer plays an important role in the Guild and University community supporting the development of societies to create an inclusive and vibrant student community. They lead the Guild’s work on student engagement in the University, College, locally and nationally.

 

 

Equalities Officer (1 Role Available) 

The Equalities Officer plays an important role in the Guild and University community supporting students from underrepresented groups and minority groups to create an inclusive and vibrant student community. They lead the Guild’s work on student experience and inclusion in the University, College, locally and nationally.
