Netball

We are more than just a sports club; whether you are an experienced player seeking to train with like-minded people in competitive matches, or someone who just loves to play netball. Perhaps you want to try something new, we encourage all abilities to join - it’s a great way to meet new people and help settle into university life. 

Not only do we have opportunities for netball players of all levels but we are a friendly and welcoming club with a calendar packed full of social events for members to get to know each other on and off court. Come and join the Netball family! 

We have two sessions at the Maltings Sports Hall each week.

Membership costs £85 for the year, which includes training costs, insurance and competition entry. The team currently competes in the BUCS league.

We provide playing kit and team tee early in the year, and you'll have the chance to buy personlised kit in the near future. This is optional, so don't feel under pressure to do this. Although you can play netball in trainers, it would be advisable to have a pair of netball shoes specifically for this. Shorts (to wear under dresses) are also suggested.

Upon registration to the team, please complete read the Code of Conduct (in the resources section) and complete the UCB Team Sports - Registraion Questionnaire. This is compulsory and includes medical information, tee shirt sizing and code of conduct agreement.

All playing members must also download the BUCS Play app (from the App Store/Google Play Store), register with the sport community and your team.
