Violation of these guidelines will be considered and dealt with by the Deputy Returning Officer and in accordance with the Rules for Candidates and By-Laws documents.

If you wish to make a complaint about a candidate, please email us on elections@ucbguild.co.uk. Whilst we endeavour to investigate all complaints, we will not pursue complaints if:

• We cannot verify your own student status
• We have reason to believe the complaint is vexatious
• The complaint infringes on a candidate's right to free speech
• On the balance of probability and at the determination of the Deputy Returning Officer, a complaint appears to be vexatious
