4. All UCB students, no matter what they study, should have online access to professional counselling support. AGREED

What are we doing about it?

1st May 2020

We're listening to you. We've been assured by the University that online counselling provision is in place and accessible for students. However, if that's not the case or you're experiencing long waits before you are able to access welfare support, we want to hear from you. Your feedback to us will be dealt with sensitively.

3rd April 2020

We've talked with so many of you who are struggling right now, with no access to counselling. We've met with the Vice Chancellor this week, however we had no reassurances about any extra counselling provision. It's extra important you share with us your experiences so we can keep making the case for improved professional mental health support for students.

What can I do?

Sign up to pledge your support for the whole Support our Students campaign

Let us know if you are unable to get access to counselling support

Submit any different ideas and look at other students' ideas to vote up, down or comment on, to make sure we've got the greatest number of student voices involved.

What have we won to date?

We've been reassured by the University that provision for Online Counselling is in place. Telephone appointments are available to be booked via Portal. For more information, please see UCB's webpage.
