Managing Our Budget

Societies may receive funding from the Guild, their members and external organisations. 

It's important as a society to understand the money you have coming in and the money you have going out that you can properly plan the exciting events and acitivites you want to put on for students. 

How do I know what money we have "in the Bank"? 

Societies will receive fortnightly information about your society balance via e-mail, you can also e-mail guildinfo@ucb.ac.uk to request a balance check. 

How do I access the funds that we have? 

You can request funding via the Student Group Finance system. This will give you the option to get reimbursed, or pay an invoice. We check this approximately twice a week so please do make sure to submit your request 2 weeks before you need it. After one of your committee has submitted a request, a second member will need to approve it before the Guild are able to process it.
