Can I still access academic support?

Despite the current situation, students can still book in for Academic Support Centre appointments, and these will be dealt with by phone/email/ video conference (dependent on your preferences).

If you have not made an appointment, but would like support or advice on your assignments:

You can email asc.booking@ucb.ac.uk (HE), rhasc@ucb.ac.uk (FE) or call 0121 604 1000 (ext 2243). Appointments will be available between 1st and 30th July from 10-2pm Tuesday-Thursday.

Alternatively, HE students can book direct by going to https://universitycollegebirmingham.simplybook.it/v2/ (this is also accessible through the CASE Toolkit).

If students have an enquiry related to disability support, they can email asc@ucb.ac.uk and a member of the CASE team will contact them.

If you need support with referencing:

This support is now handled by UCB's team of subject librarians. You can contact them via the Library Portal at: https://portal.ucb.ac.uk/#/library

This will automatically take you to your subject librarian's page with contact details and an appointment booking link.

In addition, you can still access the online academic support resources such as the CASE Toolkit and Grammarly. More information on these services here.
